Established in 1896, Shandong Shilixiang Sesame Products Co., Ltd is the largest sesame products manufacturer, the largest Food Export Record manufacturer and Provincial Enterprise Technology Center of Shandong Province in North China District. Shilixiang combines sesame planting and sesame paste and oil research and development together. With both sesame production and marketing, Shilixiang has sesame planting base with an area of 70 million square meters. Its sesame oil and sesame paste of LUYU brand has passed Green Food Certificate and Halal Certificate. Sesame oil of Luyu Brand is the Famous Brand of Shandong Province, Time-honored Brand of Shandong Province and Shandong Province's Famous Trademark etc.
In 2013, Shilixiang drafted and made a provincial standard of Technical Standard of Stone Mill Sesame Oil Making and Process which came into effect on 15th, January, 2015. With 3 National Patents for Invention, 11 Patents for Utility Models and 16 Design Patents, Shilixiang has obtained the first batch production and process model enterprise of Food Safety in Shandong. With branch offices both in Beijing and Shenzhen, Shilixiang's sesame products have been exported to multiple countries and districts including Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia and Taiwan etc. Successively, Shilixiang has got honorary titles of Green Food Production Base of Shandong Province, Key Leading Enterprise of Agriculture Industrialization, Young Civilization, Star Enterprise of National Patent in Shandong Province, Consumer Satisfaction Unit of Shandong Province etc.
